Choose to pull into rocky inlets or red sand beaches. It's easy to entertain yourself during your Malta boat charter or private boat rental experience where you can swim snorkel, dive or fish.
Gozo has some of the Mediterranean’s best dive spots.
Malta is a fascinating island at the crossroads of the Mediterranean for many centuries. Ideal for a relaxed sailing holiday, you can sail round Malta and visit the islands of Gozo, Comino and Cominotto, renowned for their pristine beaches and caves. Peaceful, unspoilt Gozo has a picturesque harbour, Mgarr, and lots of quiet anchorages where you can swim in turquoise waters- definitely worth a visit. Comino is excellent for swimming in the famous Blue Lagoon which provides excellent shelter for anchoring at night.
If you want a mix of city nightlife, historic buildings and deserted anchorages with very short passages, the Malta is a good choice for a 5 to 7 day sailing holiday.
With the islands so close to Malta, you may want to combine a yacht charter with time ashore to visit the historic sights of Malta, including the historic town of Medina. In two weeks you could extend your sailing holiday to visit Sicily, some 60nm north of Gozo.
